How can I make sure my child is eating a diverse diet?

Aim for 10–30 different plant foods each week.

  • Portions can be as small as a teaspoon or a couple of tablespoons, guided by your baby’s appetite.

  • If following baby-led weaning, offer a variety of safe, soft, age-appropriate foods and let your baby lead how much they eat.

My child is a picky eater and we are unlikely to get to 30 foods per week
